Other Services

As a Veterinarian, I do offer some other more traditional services to my clients and patients. This depends on circumstances and timing, but if there is a general health concern with your pet, please feel free to ask while at your appointment.

Blood tests

During the health assessment of your pet, we can discuss if there are any other issues that may be investigated further through pathology testing. I can draw bloods during our appointment and send to VetPath for investigation.

Titre testing

Recently, I have started conducting in house titre testing. Following assessment of the blood, I will provide you with the information of each titre level and you will get a certificate for your records.

Keep an eye out, I plan to run a couple months throughout the year as "titre testing months."

Vaccinations

If your pet is requiring vaccinations and is well, I can offer vaccinations for your dogs to ensure they remain up to date.

Imaging referals

During my examination, if we find issues that might need following up through imaging such as x-ray, ultrasound, CT, or MRI, I can refer you to a clinic I trust.

Medications

I understand that medications for your pet can be very expensive and add up. I offer a selection of medications- particularly pain relief medications that I can suggest for your pet.

Taping

Some pets can benefit from a slightly longer term support such as taping or wrapping of a limb or muscle. This will be suggested if we feel your animal can tolerate it.

Assessing skin issues

Many animals, as they age, start to have a few little lumps and bumps. I am happy to look over any areas you might have concerns about on your pet's skin. We can discuss any interventions that I can offer or I can suggest other professionals that could assist.
